On September  9, Gela Dumbadze, the State Minister of Georgia for Diaspora Issues met with Zaza Sulamanidze-the founder of the social group “The Georgians of Thessaloniki,” acting in Thessaloniki, Republic of Greece. The participants of the meeting discussed the current processes in Georgia and the economical programs, realized by the initiative of the Government of Georgia. Gela Dumbadze informed the guest about the future priorities of his office and the upcoming events.
Zaza  Sulamanidze told the Minister about the work of the social group “The Georgians of Thessaloniki.”  He thanked Gela Dumbadze for organizing  the worthy reception of ethnic Greeks as visitors in Georgia, which was initiated by our compatriot- Erotocritis Savidisi. Zaza Sulamanidze stated, that the support of Greek guests, by Georgia, mainly – the Office of the State Minster of Georgia for Diaspora Issues, deserves the highest estimation. The visit of ethnic Greeks in Georgia , who are returned to historic motherland  of  Greece from Tetritskharo, aimed at conserving and deepening historic and cultural ties with Georgia and passing of love of Georgia to the future generations.
