On September 24, in the city of Kivili, by the initiative of “Qartuli Sakhli”, the acting community in the Republic of  Estonia, the event was held, dedicated to 23 years since the fall of Sokhumi and the end of the warfare in Abkhazia. Currently those Estonians, who during the time of 1992-1993 were immigrated from Abkhazia, mainly the region Gulripshi, village Estonka and Vladimirovka; the region of Sokhumi, village upper and lower Lindi; the region of Gagra, village Salme, live in Estonia and participated in the events. Among the guests were Elguja Gvazava – the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Abkhazia, David Gvadzabia – the Deputy of the Supreme Council of Abkhazia, the former governor of Gulripshi region, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Estonia Tea Akhvlediani and the Mayor of Kivili.
In the framework of the events, the meeting with Georgian students of Tallinn University of Technology was held, at this university. Also the exhibition “We remember” was organized, Eric Grigolia, our compatriot living in Latvia being the author. Deserves mention, that this exhibition was organized in 2005 in Tbilisi; In 2006 in Moscow and Los Angeles; in 2007 in Riga, Tallinn in 2010.
