Gela Dumbadze, the State Minister of Georgia for Diaspora Issues met with the Ambassador of France to Georgia – Pascal Meunier. The issue of the discussion was the historic event of ending the process of Leuville Chateau and Estate transfer to Georgia, as well as the events which are planned for defining the future functions of the Leuville estate. The State Minister expressed with satisfaction the positive role of the government of France and the French side in the return process. He thanked the government of France for the support and expressed his hope for the future cooperation.
Gela Dumbadze introduced the future events of the office to Pascal Meunier, told him about the high-level conference “The Leuville land- present and challenges’’ to be held on November 17-18 at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, where on of the panels will be “The Leuville land-past, present and future,” dedicated to the Leuville thematic. The State Minister invited the Ambassador to the conference.
Ambassador Meunierspoke about the dynamics of the deepening relations between Georgia and France, expressed his satisfaction about ending the Leuville land return process and expressed his readiness for active engagement of the French side in defining the future functions of the Leuville land.
