Gela Dumbadze, State Minister of Georgia for Diaspora Issues during his visit to the United States of America participated in the Global Partnership Forum held in the frames of the Global Partnership Week arranged by the US State Department at Washington, D.C. The United States Secretary of State John Kerry, in his video-message welcomed the participants and underlined the importance of the Global Partnerships. Gela Dumbadze, as a special guest of the Forum was welcomed by the participants. The same day, a meeting with the Special Representative for Global Partnerships in the U.S. Secretary of State’s Office of Global Partnerships at the U.S. Department of State Andrew O’Brien and the State Minister Gela Dumbadze was held. Gela Dumbadze also had meetings with the Diaspora Research Center experts at George Washington University. The State Minister’s visit to the US continues. After Washington, DC he will visit Los Angeles and New York in order to meet Georgian diaspora and our compatriots as well as other US officials.
