On November 28, Gela Dumbadze, the State Minister of Georgia for Diaspora Issues, within the project \”Georgian Government for open governance\” presented the two-year report done by the State Minister’s Office to the representatives of the Government, international organizations, diplomatic corps, non-governmental organizations and the journalists working on the issue of emigration.
The State Minister spoke about the “Global Diaspora Week” and the International Diaspora Engagement Alliance (IdEA), underlining that Georgian State Minister’s Office is the only institution of post-soviet space joining it as full-flagged member. He talked about cooperation with the international organizations; ongoing projects and perspectives.
In his Report the State Minister also noted about his last visits to Turkey and Azerbaijan, where several meetings with our compatriots as well as a number of high-level meetings were held.
